Maple Maker supports three eras — Maple Classic, pre-BigBang GMS (v83), and modern GMS — and each character renders against one of them. If items look wrong or missing, the usual cause is an item that doesn't exist in the character's era (for example, a modern item on a v83 character).
Open the character in Maple Maker and check its region/version — the editor shows which items fail to resolve, and you can switch eras from the top bar. See the Help guide for details.
No — the Studio tools work without an account. You can create chat bubbles, view characters, and export images freely.
A Discord login is only required to save characters to your personal library. Without an account, characters aren't saved between sessions, but you can always re-paste your JSON to load them again.
